Join the community redefining how swim teams approach dryland and strength training.
What is APX MVMT LAB?
I was introduced to the idea of Warm Up To Swim (WUTS) through programs like GAINswim and Carmel Swimming. What stood out immediately was how daily touches on general physical preparation — instead of isolated “dryland days” — were helping produce some of the top swimmers in the U.S. and Canada.
I brought that same approach to my own team and started seeing results, fast.
My group of 12 & under’s weren’t just improving, they were dropping time, meet after meet.
Not one or two standout swimmers. Everyone.
So I built APX MVMT to help other coaches implement the same approach — without guesswork.
WUTS?
At APX MVMT, dryland isn’t a random occurrence... it's a feature of training.
Everything starts with WUTS (warm-up to swim) as part of daily warm-up. This helps teams remove junk yardage, actually get swimmers moving with intention, and ready to swim.
Twice a week, we layer in strength work based on the swimmers level and ability.
